Gizem Arıçay graduated from Yaşar University Faculty of Law in 2015 and completed her Master's degree in Private Law with thesis at Özyeğin University in 2020.
Throughout her 10 years of corporate experience in the media, publishing, telecommunications, technology, content services, digital platform, and employment sectors, she has managed legal processes that directly affect the daily operations of companies; particularly focusing on the protection of intellectual property rights, the structuring of licensing agreements and copyright structures, the establishment of data protection compliance processes, mergers and acquisitions, and the management of legal risks related to commercial activities. She has academic studies and published articles in the fields of copyright, trademark law, and health law.
Arıçay has been a volunteer at the Turkish Culture Foundation – AFS since 2011. She also serves as the Director of the Institute of Art Law and contributes to the institute's activities. She will continue her work at Salt & Partners as of 2026.
